Quote: All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work every day toward their distant vision, that goal or purpose.”
Hey friends, the title of this episode is The Game Plan. I wonder do you have a game plan for achieving your goals or are you just being casual about your dreams? A month ago I was telling one of my good friends and fellow Boss Babes, Tamu of LuxPadInteriors, of my goals and how I was a little overwhelmed. SN- Get yourself some friends you can be real with. We both shared our goals and then decided to sit down and create our game plans for the next 3 years. It was great we wrote down our goals, set dates over drinks and pizza. Writing everything down was exactly what I needed to stay focused with less anxiety. Here are some of the benefits of writing your ideas down:
- It gives you a record of your past. When you look back on the goals you accomplished from the past you will build your confidence. I always like to date my goals so I can reflect on how long it took me to complete it.
- You gain a sense of achievement. Checking off tasks from my to-do list is so rewarding! You will feel a sense of pride when you see you finished the work you set out to accomplish.
- It makes you more committed. When you see your goals written down with dates beside them you are reminded of the promises you made for yourself. You don’t want let yourself down.
We all deserve to make our dreams a reality, however, we have to put in the work to make that happen. First things first write down what you want to accomplish, set a deadline, tell a few close friends so they will hold you accountable to the goals you set for yourself. If you need help staying on task check out the application Wunderlist. The app will allow you to input your goals with the timelines helping you to stay on task. Thank me later. :)
